Welcome to our Junior Page! At Cherubs Angels, we believe in nurturing the next generation of athletes and providing them with a platform to thrive. Our junior programs are designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting world of Netball. Through a combination of skill development, teamwork, and fun-filled activities, we aim to instill a love for the game while fostering personal growth and sportsmanship. Our dedicated coaches are passionate about working with young athletes, helping them build a strong foundation and reach their full potential. Join us on this incredible journey and watch your child's passion for Netball soar to new heights.
If you have any questions about out junior sessions do not hesitate to get in touch. If you would like to come along for a taster session click on the link below and we will arrange with you the best session to attend depending on the players year group.
Prior to your first session with us, please fill out our registration form.
Please arrive to your training session in the correct attire. Gym/ Sports Wear and trainers. We recommend checking out our shop if you would like to represent the club in our kit.
Bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated throughout the session.
We take pride in being the pioneering Netball club in Cardiff to introduce strength and conditioning training as an integral part of our weekly sessions, offered to all age appropriate members of Cherubs Angels Netball Club as an optional extra.
Cherubs Angels Netball Club – Player Pathway
At Cherubs Angels Netball Club, we offer the chance to be part of a unique training programme designed to support every stage of a player’s development. Our squads cater for all ages, ensuring every athlete can find the right environment to grow their skills, confidence, and love of the game.
Mini Squad
For Years 3, 4 and 5.
Our youngest Cherubs start their journey here, training 2 hours each week as a squad, plus 1 additional hour within their year-group recreational class.
Talent Squad
For Under 12s (Years 6 & 7).
Players train 3 hours a week as a squad, alongside their regular age-group training sessions.
Academy Squad
For Under 14s (Years 8 & 9).
Focused, high-intensity training with 3 hours a week as a squad, plus their age-group training.
Academy Pathway
For Under 14s (Years 8 & 9).
A smaller, specialist class designed to refine skills and prepare players for the Academy and beyond.
Under 16s Squad
For Years 10 & 11.
Players train 2 hours a week as a squad and alongside recreational players. Many also choose to compete in the senior league, gaining valuable match experience.
